I've been practicing massage therapy since 2012. I attended the Arizona School of Massage Therapy where I studied multiple modalities. My primary focus after graduating ASMT has been deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, structural integration, and combining them with my unique flow developed through my decade long practice of Qigong and Baguazhang. I am currently a student of the Neil Asher Technique in myofascial trigger-point therapy and been educated in Oncology massage. Before massage I was an explorer of sorts and a student at Glendale Community College, where I studied a variety of topics including; Greek history, music, philosophy, and psychology. I can hold a conversation, however, for a really cool science reason I'm generally the quiet type during your session.
Something that sets me apart from other therapists is that the power of my massage is derived from my stance, rather than my shoulder strength. This results in a more consistent massage in flow and pressure for you.
My philosophy about massage is rooted in the importance of self-care and it's impact on your life. When you get a massage you are doing something to take care of yourself, both your mind and your body. Massage isn’t just about pampering yourself. Massage is about being a better you. It’s about being better to yourself, to your family, to your work, and even better to your neighbor in traffic. It’s about walking through life with less weight on your shoulders and more smile on your face. I love massage, I love my home, and I’m very happy to be able to offer my services to the community I grew up in.
